This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

The heat wave continues today with highs into the lower 90s and
heat index values into the mid 90s. The greatest impacts from the
heat will be felt in the urban core of the Twin Cities metro where
little cooling relief is expected overnight.

An Air Quality Alert is in place for much of central and eastern
Minnesota through western Wisconsin due to wildfire smoke from
northern Minnesota being advected southeast.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The heat wave will continue through Friday with highs into the
lower to middle 90s and heat index values in the mid 90s to near
100 degrees. The greatest impacts from the heat will be felt in
the urban core of the Twin Cities metro where little cooling
relief is expected overnight.

An Air Quality Alert is in place through Friday morning for much
of central and eastern Minnesota through western Wisconsin due to
wildfire smoke from northern Minnesota being advected southeast.
